There usually is a white label on the left side in front with mcs7835xxxxxxx
we upgraded 7835TD, the TD is for a 1266 model (5+ year old server) from 20002.7sr8 to 2000 4.4a with
no problems.

I have an MCS 7835H server and I am trying to find out the exact model number so I can verify if it will support an OS upgrade to 2000-4-4a. The current OS is 2000.2.7sr8 and the install image was 2000.2.4. Is there a utility that will tell me the exact model? I have looked at the server but I can not find a label to tell me which version it is.

Also in case I need to reinstall does anyone know what OS disk they would need? I know the hardware detection and Call manager disks but I am wondering what exact OS disk the hardware detection CD will ask me for. Thanks for your help.
