[cisco-voip] DID for Unity Pilot?

OK, I got it. I had to create a forwarding rule and put in the pilot number as the dialed number. I had to move that rule below the default sign-in rule because it would ask everyone to enter their ID instead of just there password. After I moved it down it still didn't work the way I wanted it to. I couldn't just send it right to a sign-in prompt. I had to create a call handler with a blank greeting. I then programmed the call handler to go to sign-in after greeting. I then went back to the forwarding rules, and in the Send Call To field I sent it to my call handler. Works like a charm now.

So I now have a number that user internally dial or hit the messages button on the phone to get their messages and that same number is available outside of the system to call in and get your messages. I am not using any CTI route points and only one call handler.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Chris

I think you want to set the routing rule to send to 'Sign-in'. 'Attempt
sign-in' will look up the calling number and, if it doesn't match a
subscriber's extension (or alternate extension), that rule won't be
matched and it will move on to the next rule. So, for this to work,
you'd have to define any number that anyone would ever call in from as
an alternate extension. 'Sign in', on the other hand, sends you to the
conversation that always prompts for user id and PIN.
