Ignore me if you wish but I have insert the official BAT is the only
means of backup and restore TAC supports for CallManager.

I'd strongly encourage you to test the Veritas restore before you
have to use it to replace a production server. I also cannot
guarantee that the backup agent itself will not cause issues with CM.

We use veritas with the windows and sql agent for CCM and the Windows
and Exchange agent for our VM only unity. We've never had a problem
with backing up, but frankly we've also never tested a restore. We
also set up nightly BARS backups for CCM to one of our regular file
servers as an additional layer of protection. This is for CCM 4.2 and
Unity 4.2. If you are on CCM5 you're only option, AFAIK, is BARS
backups as there is no way to install a Veritas, Tivoli or any other
type of agent.

How are all of you backing up Unity and CCM? Just firing off a
script to send it to another server?
Or some sort of internal/external tape drive?
And WHAT do you backup?
My CCM and Unity do not have tape drives, so I am curious as to how I
would back them up.
