Look for "SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml" and "SCCP-dictionary.xml" under your tftp path.

For US:

C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\English_United_States\SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml

C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\English_United_States\SCCP-dictionary.xml

Look for <phrase i="119" t="Your current options" />


You change the "Your current options" text. I wouldn't put any more characters that this as it may not fit on some displays.


Restart TFTP service

You also have to erase the configuration on any 794X or 796X. I have not gotten this to work for '05s, '06s, '11s, '12s. I have not tested this on '7Xs.

I would like to change the "Your current options" (the phone has german 
locals, so it shows "Ihre aktuellen Optionen") against a custom text. Is 
this possible?
On CME there is a parameter "System message", I'm searching for 
something similar in CCM 4.2.

any ideas?
