[cisco-voip] Best way to convert MGCP to SIP

Im in the process of configuring CM 6.0 with SIP.  We are currently running as MGCP. Want to know will the ipphone automatically converter over to SIP when we turn on the new CM with 6 SIP.  Im Just trying to see if I have to touch every phone or edit some files,  since they are already deployed.  The phones are 7940-60
