I am not a unified messaging guru but if I were you I would start
looking at what is possible with Unity version 5

 

In terms of the CCM6 integration with Microsoft also look at Unified
presence server which will enable you to integrate with Microsoft Live
Communications server etc.

Does anybody know if it it possible to set up Unified Messaging  with
Unified Communication Manager 6.X and Exchange 2007?

 

If so what version have you used to do this?
