Actually the goal is to keep it simple and provide a couple of functions. 
I think I can do the hunting and forwarding to offisite analog mailbox 
with the alias commands in SRST.   Im going to try that first without 
complicating matters.......

AFAIK..
To use the extra features in CME SRST would would have to have them 
provisioned ahead of time in the router config.. ephones, ephone-dns, plus 
your hunt groups etc. So if your goal was to keep the user experience the 
same, you would need to keep the CME configuration up to date with any 
changes you made on call manager.
