[cisco-voip] Cisco Emergency Responder Install ?

I am in the process of installing CER for the first time, right now I
am focusing on just one CER server "publisher" obviously and want to
get it up and working in a very limited fashion just for testing
purposes and to prove that it can and will do all we need.

During the install it is asking for the publisher CallManagers info
for being able to login to it.  As I understand it, it will eventually
use this to poll CM for a list of phones and such.

I want to make sure that as I intall this for the first time and work
through the learning process and such that it "CER" does not in any
way tie into Callmanagers database or anything.  Its 'integration'
with callmanager is just at a read-only type of level right?

I know at some point I will need to setup some integration between the
two, but that would require me to actually do something and not having
CER automatically tie into CallManager and manipulate it right?

Sorry for sounding and being paranoid,  I just don't want CER to some
how make some change to CM that I am not aware of and all of a sudden
create a problem for my production CallManagers.
