>From my discussions with my colleague, he says all you need is to get your HA media out, upgrade the first box to SQL 2000, and then add the second server as a subscriber. The HA media/SQL 2000 media for CRS _should_ automatically upgrade the MSDE database and import that data into a SQL 2k database.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Contact Center Express 5.01 standalone to High availability upgrade

Hi,

on Sunday I have to upgrade a CUCCX 5.01 standalone to a failover/high
availabililty cluster. Has anyone experiences with them?

I have 2 Questions

Is it possible to backup the data from the standalone version and put
 it
in the high availabililty version without any problems? Because I know
the standalone version based MSDE and the HA version requires SQL
 Server
2000.

Otherwise is it possible to upgrade a running standalone cuccx to a
HA/failover version and add a second server?

Kind Regards

Steffen
