The SRST Reference has to match the ip source-address IP under
call-manager-fallback settings. If that IP is the same IP as the
phones default gateway then you can use the use default gateway option
on Call Manager side. If the call-manager-fallback IP address is
different then the phones default gateway then you need to configure
SRST reference so it knows what IP address to use.
For example, your phones default gateway could be the main WAN router
at a remote site but you may have a dedicated voice gateway at the
site for SRST and PSTN connectivity. In this scenario, you would use
the SRST reference.
