Remember, if you are using Unity as your auto-attendant, you will not get on-campus and off-campus ring differential.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Setting different ring tones for internal versusexternal calls in CM 4.1(3)

  Hi All,

I am trying to set the different ring tones for internal versus external calls on CallManager 4.1(3). Found the following info on Cisco website, but I did not see any service parameter named H323NetworkLocationOffNet on my server.( There are two sites, the one required this setting is using H.323 2811 gateway, the other one is using MGCP 2821 gateway.)
  Q. How do I get Distinctive Ringing for external versus internal calls on my Cisco IP Phone?

    A. Distinctive Ringing is a feature that has been available on Cisco CallManager 3.0 when you use Skinny Gateways such as the DT24+ or the 6608 T-1 blade. However, this functionality was not available until release 3.1.2c with use of an H.323 gateway. In order to enable Distinctive Ringing, you must set the service parameter H323NetworkLocationOffNet to True.

  Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!
