As far as disk space is concerned, I would check the status of your Exchange
backup - you might be accumulating the logs (and thus running out of space).
As for the XMedius, you may want to check the order in which the services
load upon Unity/Exchange restart.

Hope this helps,

Nikola Stojsin

nope..

xmedius fax is just using unity as a exchange server beacuse it needs one..

xmedius fax is installed on different server..

on unity we're having just, let's call it plugin or services which connects
exchange - unity with xmediusfax..

Are you saying that your Unity server is also your XMedius fax server?

hi to all..

we're having some issues with the unity and xmedius fax so if anybody has an
idea it would be great..

we have cisco unity 4.0 integrated with ccm3.3 cluster and xmedius fax
server..

so, since xmedius fax server is using exchange server, we've chosen the one
on the unity server..some plugin is installed on unity server..

everything worked fine until few days ago when we experienced some
problems..the fax system stopped..

so, while we were touubleshooting we noticed that there is only 300 MB free
on the exchange partition ( which is 8GB ) on unity server, and that we
cannot start unity service at all..after start it stopped again..

so we cleaned up manually what we could and made free about 520 MB..

so unity worked ( except the error from xmedius fax service on it althoug it
was working )..

never mind, the question is, does anybody has experience with lack of free
space on unity server, what could be the cause of it, and how can we
cleanitup or manage to arrange automatic cleaning..

unity does have only 100 subscribers, and xmedius which is using unity
exchage has 30 mailboxes..and the whole system is operating for just few
months..

thanx..

regards..
