[cisco-voip] unnkown caller when voice mail on CUE

are you using a dialplan-pattern to convert the incoming DDI numbers
to extensions?

the dialplan-pattern does not only convert incoming called numbers to
the appropriate extensions but also expands the calling number for
outbound calls to the full DID number

Example:

DID 40955512XX / extensions 200 - 299
dialplan-pattern 40955512XX extension-length 3

since calls to CUE are routed over a SIP dial-peer and are treated by
CME as outbound, the calling party number is extended to the full DID
number. So if Number 200 calls the CUE Voice Mail, CUE receives an
incoming called number of 4095551200 but the voice mail box is
probably configured for extension 200!

If thats your problem delete the dialplan-pattern and configure the
necessary translation of the incoming called number using a voice
translation-profile

e.g.

voice translation-rule 1
 rule 1 /^40955512/ /2/
voice translation-profile myprofile
 translate called 1
voice-port 0/0/0:15
 translation-profile inbound myprofile
