[cisco-voip] A log full of "Transient Connection Attempt"

I think a transient connection attempt is just a phone that either cannot
register or having some kind of connectivity problem. I'm sure there is a
specific set of conditions where this could get put into the log but I don't
know what they are :)
I don't know of any BIOS or OS bugs that would cause that, but I suppose its
possible.
