[cisco-voip] TAPS and CallManager 5

Oh well, I guess its back to scanning MAC addresses into excel. I hate
to losing features. I can't justify another server for a sometimes used
tool. And there are no existing windows servers to use either.
I was thinking about using vmware and just running CRS on my notebook
for deployment. But I do not want the customer's IT staff to see me use
a tool I'm taking away after the install.
I'll go sit in the staging room where I can be less constrained on my
choice of words for a while.
Thanks for the verification,
-Patrick

You are absolutely correct. Since they gave up co-resident CRS and App
server, you must run it on a separate server.

Hello,
I just want to be sure I'm not reading things incorrectly. To use
TAPS with CallManager 5, you have to have a windows server available to
run the CRS application.
Somebody please tell me I'm wrong.
-Patrick
