[cisco-voip] Faxing and Modem issues with EVM-HD FXS

With Xerox you also need to turn off the ECM (error Correction mode)
then you should be able to set it to G3 (14.4) and all should be fine.
We had the same issues with our Xerox's.  Currently Cisco doesn't
support the Super G3 standard....... I wish they did..........  I'll
bring it up again at the CIPTUG open mic ;-)

Have a customer who is experiencing a ton of issues with Faxing and
Modem. Here is the configuration

 

PRI into 28xx mgcp gateway -> CallManager 5.1.1 -> faxes and modems
connected to black box distribution panel -> amphenol connection to
evm-hd fxs

 

Customer has super g3 xerox fax machines (Which will not work at sg3)
Had customer try locking in faxes at g3-33.6 no good.  14.4 no good.
4800 worked.

 

Customer wants higher speed than 4800
