[cisco-voip] Auto-QoS ?

OK, but here's the question no one is answering...

Saying "Auto-QOS sucks" is all well and good, but first off, some of
us are not CCIEs... and also, have you ever actually experienced a
voice quality issue with the Auto-QOS on Cisco switches?

To be perfectly honest, I have come across so many installations (some
quite large) with NO layer-2 QOS that I find it difficult to
understand how it Auto-QOS could be a problem.

That being said, when the 3560s first came out, Auto-QOS strangled
non-priority traffic to about 4MB/sec on a GigE switch... (since fixed
by code updates)...

All in all, I think AQ has matured to a point of being perfectly
acceptable for LAN Switching...

On the other hand, I didn't even realize Auto-QOS was available for
routers until recently (I was so comfortable with CBWFQ that I never
even looked into the automatic way), when I did finally run into it,
it just spews in the same config I would do by hand anyway...
