Yes they are... the resources arn't local to the site however. The
phones are able to handle a adhoc G.711 conference are they not?

CCM 4.2, all the phones in concern are in the same region... and are of
course using G.711.. calls across the WAN will be using G.729 though.

If it is CCM5, the reason is because, by default, CCM5 uses G729
across the WAN. The CCM Conference Bridge only supports G711.
So, even if you didn't configure your regions to use 729, they are
anyway.
Your solution is to change it to 711.
Or, you can throw the CFB into a device pool that only uses 711
regions, and, supposedly it will work... haven't tried it yet.
