[cisco-voip] routing tollfree calls - local or long distance trunks?

This is an interesting question.
You should check with your long distance provider, I've seen LD trunks
charge the same rate for 800 numbers that they do for real long distance
calls. They see it as an "extra service" to provide what they consider
"local calls" on their trunks. I usually send them out local PRIs and
last case Long Distance trunks.

their long distance trunks?
Or is it just a provisioning issue? Route them over any available trunk?
Do some long distance trunks not permit toll free calls?
