Yes it's possible to use third party SIP phone with CME.
You need to configure something like:
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 192.168.5.223 port 5060
max-dn 50
max-pool 36
timezone 13
time-format 24
hold-alert
tftp-path flash:
create profile sync 0380829064185296
!
voice register dn 1
number 11
call-forward b2bua noan 11111 timeout 10
name 11
no-reg
label Reception - 11
!
voice register pool 1
id mac 000B.8204.36AD
number 1 dn 1
voice-class codec 1
for SIP you need to use voice register dn and pool and not ephones, for
huntgroup you use voice hunt-group command.
FAC Feature Access Code didn't work for me, but with transfer and
callforward no big problem.
All this kind of configuration for SIP are explained in the CCME
