The Unity Server Upgrade Wizard doc states that it is designed to work on a server which has at least one of the below mentioned installed on the server.

- Cisco Unity
- Cisco Unity Voice Recognition
- Cisco Unity Connection
- Cisco Unity Connection Voice Recognition
- Cisco Unity Bridge

I ran it on a lab Unity voicemail only Exchange server and it worked fine. I am thinking about trying it in production. Since this is a voice mail only message store server and the Exchange software was purchased from Cisco I expect to be able to do this. I was told Cisco would support my entire Unity environment including the message store portion.

Any thoughts? All it looks like it is doing is running a Microsoft patch script.

Thanks!,
