[cisco-voip] IP Phone Service redundancy

Hi everyone,
what's the best way to provide some level of redundancy to an IP phone
service or directory? Since the same web app can easily run on 2
separate servers, we could have DNS resolve its URL to 2 different IP
addresses, but if one of those IPs is down, the request will still
time out... In fact, since DNS will round robin those 2 addresses,
every other request will fail.
 Is there a better way to do this?
