[cisco-voip] How Much Traffic on the Phone System?

Use PerfMon. That's what we do. We make sure the same number of registered phones are in the system after our resets.

Calls won't (shouldn't) be dropped as your go through the process. They will lose all features, but other than that, things should be OK.

I am going to reboot a couple subscribers tonight and I need to know the best way to see how many phones are in use before I do. Any suggestions? I am also interested to know if there are calls whether they will be disconnected. Thank you!

  Subject: [cisco-voip] 7940s with P00307020200 (7.2(2.0) not getting P00308000400 (8.0(4.0)

After applying ciscocm.4-1-DevPack-39.exe to a cluster running 4.1(3)Sr4d, after multiple reboots to whole cluster I see 2 CP-7940Gs have 8.0(4.0) while 38 CP-7940Gs still have 7.2(2.0).

Any ideas on why the CP-7940Gs are not upgrading from 7.2(2.) to 8.0(4.0)? The tftp server is local.
