I think your two options are:

797x

Or IP communicator

I don't know of a way with a 7961.

Subject: [cisco-voip] External Speaker for Phone?

A question from one of my users (below). I assume the answer is "no" (I
don't see anything on the phone other than the headset or aux jacks ,
but I've learned not to respond definitively without checking first.

"Do the 7961G phones have the capability of having an external speaker
that I can place at a location away from the phone so someone can be
better heard on the other side of my office without being next to the
phone?"

Thanks everyone!

ES100 has the fix for CSCsh81747 - Callmanager TOD routing not updated
with DST patches.

ES88 has been deferred so you should not run it and you should yell at
whoever sent it to you (assuming they sent it after 12/13).

What made you run ES100? Was it the bug with the 7970/71 where you can't
update it do to URLScan issue?

I opened a tac case and they sent ES88 for my 4.1.1sr4d, which won't
install. I'm thinking tac sent the wrong ES88 from 4.1.3sr4d.

DevPack 39 for CCM4.1 contains SCCP70.8-2-1S, for which Release Notes
are apparently not available, since the link to
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_ipphon/english/i
pp7970/relnotes/index.htm
returns Page Not Available. Should I install this or 8.0(4)SR3a as part
of my DST weekend activity?
