Depends on how big your broadcast domains are and which 7912 you
have. The original 7912G phones had a serious hardware limitation
that would cause lost packets if you had high broadcast, multicast,
or unicast traffic on the data or voice vlan.
There was another version released which did not suffer from this
issue but I don't recall the part number, something like 7912G-2 I
think.
