[cisco-voip] non cisco phones on Cisco voice router

I am inquiring as to anyone out there who has configured non Cisco phones to
connect to a 2610XM routers. I am running
c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-7.bin. I have configured the POTS side of this
and it works great but I would like to have non Cisco phones register via
the router. I have Polycom and softsets that I would like to get working. I
am also trying to set up a failover SIP trunk to our Asterisk box with the
same router. Can anyone out there provide me any insight on how you got
these two things working? I have been Googling all day and ran into some
hints but its not quite working.
