does anyone else feel that these appliances are going to be EOL'ed quicker than the windows boxes?

with only one year to migrate?

i've experienced in the past that these EOL announcements are not communicated to the sales staff and we have found ourselves buying items that are EOL'ed in a matter of months with no purchase protection.
