[cisco-voip] How to Identify a Publisher Server

This will not always be the case. With large clusters you won't even
run the CCM service on your publisher.

From the CCMAdmin the easiest way to tell is to go to Help->About
Cisco CallManager. Then click on the Details button. Under
Database Information look at the Server value. In normal operating
conditions when all servers are up this will always be the publisher.

Click FIND and click each CM until you find the server that is listed
as CTI: 1

That is your publisher.

Hi,

I am new to Cisco Call Managers. I want to know if there are 3-4 CCMs
in my cluster, and I want to know which one is Publisher among all
those, how can I know that. Can I check it from web-interface of any
of the servers in the cluster?

Pls respond…
