I use Berbee InformaCast for paging. I setup a Page weather text and /
or Audio and setup a Service URL on a button on the phone. Works pretty
well.
Auto dialer...... the only one that I found that works really well is
School Messenger CommSuite. It ties directly in with CM and uses either
Sip Trunks or JTAPI integration. I like this one because weather the
call is answered, VM or answering machine it works. Some other vendors
just start playing the message on answer which means the VM / answering
machine don't get the message correctly. If you need contact info, let
me know and I can get it to you off line.
Scott
PS. Just because it's name is school messenger doesn't mean it won't
work in other applications. And it does allow you to use other DB's for
phone numbers.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Emergency Paging System & Other Apps
Hello Everyone,
I've been asked to look into an emergency paging system to use via the
Cisco phones. Also, we are thinking about an auto-dialer. Anyone have
any experience with that? I would appreciate both recommendations and
caveats.
Thanks!
Faye
