[cisco-voip] SIP firmware version to fix vulnerability in a non-CM env

Is anyone using a Cisco 7940/7960 without a CM 5?

According to a recent security response, see 
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/cisco-sr-20070320-sip.shtml , 
version 8.6 will fix the problem.  The link in the security response 
points to an 8.2 non-CM version.  The 8.6 readme says it works only with 
CM 5.  Has anyone upgraded to 8.6 and still able to use this with a 
non-CM 5 registrar?
