This may sound really stupid but have you tried using
a FXO port instead?

Hi, i have a 2801 cisco router and in one of its fxs
port i haveattached the analog interface of
a door opener (pantel piezo-singe-button). It is an
H323 vgw.
I configured the port with connection plar.
Sometimes, when someone presses the button, the
IPphone rings. When theuser answers it, the call is
immediately dropped!!
Sometimes this does not happen and it works correctly.
I have debugged the ccapi with no luck: the problem is
weird since itdoes not happen all the time.
When i attached an analog phone on the FXS it was
working perfectly!!
I have tried to change everything on the voice port
but noting ishappening
(compand type, timeouts, bearer cap, input gain etc).
At all times, the analog phone works fine but the door
opener sometimesyes and sometimes no.
How is it possible not to be able to work SOMETIMES! I
cannot explainit in an engineer point of view.
Has anyone seen something like this before?
here is what i have configured:
voice-port 0/2/1
input gain -6
output attenuation 14
