[cisco-voip] IPCCX and Microsoft Vista

Keep in mind that the CAD desktop isn't written by Cisco - it's written by
Spanlink. I do find it surprising that it would take a year to support
Vista, but I doubt MS will have a new desktop OS out by then.
That being said, have you considered moving your CAD agents to a Citrix
server? I believe this is a supported configuration now.
And, for the masses, you definitely want to get your Cisco account team to
register complaints. If there's one thing Cisco usually does well, it's
repond to significant customer demand.

Subject: [cisco-voip] IPCCX and Microsoft Vista
We have just been told that the earliest Vista support for IPCCX will be
IPCCX 6.0, which is targeted for next year release (2008)
I can not believe that Cisco will leave its clients out to dry. What
happens to users on IPCCX 4.x and those going to IPCCX 5.x?
Do we have no choice but to tell our customers that their very sophisticated
PBX can not accommodate them? By the time Cisco supports Vista, there will
be another OS version coming out...
It is unbelievable that no effort will be done to support CAD with Vista at
present. :-(
Are any of you guys in the same boat as us?? We have been getting a lot of
heat about supporting Vista with IPCCX and these news are not going to be
well received.
