[cisco-voip] Unity Installation

Hi everyone, 

 

Just wandering if someone could explain something for me?

 

I'm just going through the setup process for Unity 4.2.1 and am just
making sure I have all my bases covered. The installation will be VM
with UM integration with Exchange 2003

 

During the ADSchema update you are prompted with this:

 

 

 

I've looked into VPIM Connector and it looks like its needed when using
Unified messaging with Exchange, is this correct? Could someone briefly
explain what this is? 

 

Bridge Connector, I understand that this is a gateway for the Octel
system?

 

If anyone has any advice for a newbie Unity Installer, let me know...
