[cisco-voip] CUE-AIM 2.3-CCM:after running the wizard it continously reloads

Post the error messages, console messages, etc from timeframe it
reboots (if any). I've worked on many failed AIM-CUEs but haven't seen this sort of thing on a new one yet.

If you have a few seconds before it reboots, you can try to enter 'show
log name messages.log tail 5' and then wait and capture new messages
that may happen when it reboots.

Like Kris had said, the boot helper
image disk-cleanup may help, but sometimes it doesn't (depends on how bad
flash is).

Hope this helps figure it out, else TAC it.

Yes Kris,

it is a band new AIM module with 1GB flash. Do you think it is normal
that after i do a minimal config it gets stuck?

Shall i proceed with what you sent me?

Thanks

Anthony

Is it a brand new AIM module? I've seen them get stuck in
a reboot cycle when the flash disk gets too full. The solution to that
is to download the helper image from CCO and put it on tftp. Go to
bootloader prompt (hit *** when prompted during boot) and change config
to point to this helper. Boot this image by doing a "boot helper".
When the image boots up, choose Option 3 to do disk cleanup.

That might be worth a try.

It might also help to post an error messages you see when it's stuck in
the reboot cycle.

  Hi,
i have a CUE AIM 2.3 on a 2811 and i integrated it with a CCM 5.0(4a).

After running the 1 wizard to configure it, i also run the

postinstallation wizard: it went OK.

Then i accessed the GUI and performed the wizard to import users etc.

i have filled the necessary information, jtapi user, ccmadmin user and

the wizard imported all the settings correctly (i have skipped the users

import because for the moment i only need the AA).

After that, i saw the gui and the CTI ports were correctly imported,
but...

it started to reload!

And after it came online, it reloaded again!

And every time it came online, after 10-15 seconds it reloads.

I almost had the time to issue "offline" and "restore factory defaults"

and after the reload i am back to zero again.

I did the same procedure and it happened again!!

Any ideas why it is happening?

Thanks

Anthony
