[cisco-voip] ntp for call manager - unity connection etc. Question

Hi Erik - I followed Cisco docs and modified the ntp.conf file on the
publisher only, to point to our main network gateway. The 3 subscribers
all specify the publisher's IP address as their source in the ntp.conf
file...they've been keeping time well so far....

etc. Question

	Hi

I am planning to use ntp to sync time on a two server call
manager cluster - one publisher and one subscriber. Plus one Unity
Connection server. Was thinking of using the main voice gateway as the
NTP master and the point each server to it. Cisco documentation is
conflicting. One doc says one must point the publisher to the NTP master
and then point the sub to the pub and other docs on cisco.com say the
servers can not point to another call manager. Using CCM 4.2.

Anyone has any advice - with the conflicting info it might be
better to point all servers directly to the main gateway - acting as the
master ??
