[cisco-voip] Meetingplace Express unable to relay email thru Exchange off net

Installed a new MPX 1.2, when you schedule a meeting, emails get sent
to participants for on net users only (local to the domain), however,
off net (to say, gmail, etc) do not work.

We have tested and the Exchange servers will relay mail.

The SMTP configuration is pretty basic, just an IP for the mail server
with no authentication...

Do we need to authenticate to send mail off net?
