[cisco-voip] Alarm lines and CCM?

We tell our clients to keeps these on POTS lines.  This is standard
practice with other PBX systems as well.

Hey all,

 

  I don't think I've seen this addressed so I thought I'd ask.

 

  Is there any precedent for running things like Fire and Burglar alarms
and Elevator phones through CCM instead of using things like leased
lines and pots lines?  Has anyone done this, and have they researched
the codes regarding such things?
