By far the majority are still running 4.1. new installs of 5.x, some
upgrades to 4.2 or 4.3 but ~75-85% was still 4.1. and by far the
majority are going to upgrade to 6.1.

I went to the last 3 but missed this year as well. Were there a lot
of people running or planning to soon upgrade to the 5.x, 6.x train?
Last year most were still on 4.x. One of the nice things about the
conference is getting feedback/advice directly from people on similiar
versions of the software. There are definitely more people asking
about these versions on the list so I expect you would see that at the
conference as well.

Thanks Bill.

I sent a note out about a company that has replacement hookswitch
components. Our results so far have been positive.

We just got a shipment of replacement hook switches from a company in
Texas (yee-haw). We're going to be testing them ASAP in a number of
failed phones. I'll do my best to keep the list up to speed on their
effectiveness, but they were pretty cheap so it's not a high cost
experiment.
