[cisco-voip] Comcast Voice Blocking Cisco Router DHCP

Do you know what boot rom the Cisco 871 is running?  It may be
completely unrelated, but I had several 871's that wouldn't always get a
DHCP address from Comcast.  They would work in our test lab but when I
would take them home to my house they wouldn't.  Eventually I ended up
resolving the issue by upgrading boot rom to C870_RM_ALT.srec.123-8r.YI3
per Cisco TAC.  I notice that most newer 871/877's ship with a later
version.

Pulling battery, waiting 12 hours, and calling Comcast didn't work.
Any other ideas?
