[cisco-voip] Strange issue with SRST

Directories such as missed/placed/received are local to the phone - not
stored on CCM - therefore not a good indication of registration status.

When you say login, you mean login to Extension Mobility?

Did you reset the phones while they were showing registered?

Did the phone reset?

Assuming EM, when the user logs into the phone does the phone reset?

When you look at the device in CCM, does it show that user logged in?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Strange issue with SRST

Hi,

We have a CCM cluster, 4 servers, with a few branch offices all
running SRST on 2811 platform. Two days ago after some Telco problems
at the one site, the router went into SRST mode. When WAN
connectivity to the CCM cluster got restored things stopped working.
Phones (7961) only displayed the date & time and nothing else but when
looking on the CCM they showed "registered". When trying to make
calls, there was no dial-tone. However when you pressed the the
directory button you could see missed calls, placed calls and so
on....same for the other buttons. But back on the screen it still only
showed the date & time. In the end I had to delete the phones and add
them back again for them to show that they have registered.

So now the phones are back to normal but when the users try to log in,
it goes back to only showing date & time and nothing else and call
functionality does not work. Anyone ever seen something like this? Any
ideas?

Thnx
