you can use ip phone xml and the built in web server of the ip phones
to post (HTTP POST) a (or several) CiscoIPPhoneExecute XML Object with
ExecuteItem Key:VolDwn to the phones...
it will look like a ghost is pressing the volume key on the phone ;-)
It's a bit cumbersome but it works!
