[cisco-voip] SIP Integration

I'm reading some docs on Cisco about what the minimum version of Call
Manager Express I will need to utilize SIP trunks. From what I am seeing it
states 3.4, 4.0, and 4.1. It states for SIP integration. Here is the page

My VAR is stating that 3.4 does not support SIP trunk functionality.
Basically I want to establish some SIP trunks for testing from our Call
Manger Express to SIP providers. Can anyone point to a definitive answer to
this question for me?
