Hi Richard,
'Headless' CSA is just that - headless. Rules cannot be modified.
defect sa95341 has headline:
SQL backup job agent owned by install account by default
This may change the job owner, but not clear that it's going to address
CSA issue. Most SQL backup tools can connect to SQL instances over the
network and perform backup. That may be a better option unless your
backup software is on the 'supported' list for CSA. In which case you need
to open a TAC case and get a new defect opened against CSA to correct
rules for your backup software.. again, if your backup software is one of
the supported ones with csa.
Another option is to purchase fully managed csa version. then you can
import the headless rules and customize as you please.
