[cisco-voip] MGCP dial-peer order changing

Wes
Are you certain about this? I've got many customers
running frac PRIs which REQUIRES that you remove
ccm-manager config or your pri-group is rewritten with
all 24 channels at every reset. These customers have
been running for years now without issue and I'm
certain they've modified their dialplan with bouncing
mgcp. I know that changes to the actual gateway
require a "reset" which requires bouncing MGCP but
modifying a Route pattern or RG config in a RL?? I can
probably lab it but my gateway is on loan right now.
:-(

Yes I know frac PRIs aren't officially supported in
MGCP and H323 is obviously a better option but these
account were adopted so you get what you get.

Be careful of removing 'ccm-manager config'. If you
do this changes toany CM config that points directly
to this gateway (route pattern orroute group) will not
take effect until you do no mgcp/mgcp on thegateway.

This was a bug a LONG time ago.. the fix at the
timewas to remove "ccm-manager config" to prevent
MGCPfrom recreating the dialpeers and writing them at
thebottom... I have not had this problem in years

OK, this is now the second time that I find my
MGCPdial-peers at the bottom of my dial-peer list
afterI modified things to put them at the top. What is
going on?Have others seen this?Lelio
