I kinda see what you mean, though I missed it at first. See, in my
system, the internal numbering plan and the DIDs have absolutely no
correlation, so I *have* to use a translation pattern for every user DID
anyway. A wildcard for unassigned numbers is only one more.

I doubt you'll find any amongst us who are not of that opinion! Heck, I
think I should get a hazard bonus for having to deal with Windows... :)
