Control is actually CS3 now. That change a while ago.

Hello Jordi,

DSCP, because CCM connected to the switch via access port, on which we donn't have L2 cos parameters.

o Service provider Router connected to a 6500 Switch port (Layer 2 connection) à What should I use?

Depend, if you use trunk between router and switch , you can use cos, but in the policy-map you must correctly set cos values for example set cos dscp

, if access port - dscp.

MGCP Gateways connected to a 6500 Switch port à What should I use?

See above answer.

o Switch connected through trunk ports à What should I use?

Any, but I preffer concistency, if you use dscp, why not using it.

o H323 Gateways connected to a 3560 switch port àWhat should I use?

Auto voice trust, recognize Cisco devices only, so if h323 Gw Cisco , you can use this.

o Service provider Router connected to a 3560 Switch port (Layer 2 connection) à What should I use?

Access port - dscp.

By default CCM marks signaling traffic to the 26 ( af31) and media (rtp) 46 (ef)

Hi All,

I would like anyone to answer these QoS configuration doubts, if it's possible?

I have a Headquarters office and some branch offices:

- Headquarters:

o CCM connected to a 6500 Switch port à What should I use?

§ Mls qos trust cos ß I'm using this one

§ Mls qos trust dscp

o Service provider Router connected to a 6500 Switch port (Layer 2 connection) à What should I use?

§ Mls qos trust cos

§ Mls qos trust dscp ß I'm using this one

o MGCP Gateways connected to a 6500 Switch port à What should I use?

§ Mls qos trust cos ß I'm using this one

§ Mls qos trust dscp

o Switch connected through trunk ports à What should I use?

§ Mls qos trust cos

§ Mls qos trust dscp ß I'm using this one

- Branch Offices:

o H323 Gateways connected to a 3560 switch port àWhat should I use?

§ I'm using "auto qos voip trust"

o Service provider Router connected to a 3560 Switch port (Layer 2 connection) à What should I use?

§ I'm using "auto qos voip trust" but changing the line "mls qos trust cos" to "mls qos trust dscp"

Does CCM automatically mark signaling traffic to DSCP 24? Should I configure anything on Enterprise Parameters? I think it's not necessary to do anything but I'm not sure...

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
