[cisco-voip] H.323 to Replace MGCP

Hi All,
In our organisation we currently have an IOS gateway with PRI's connected
to our CCM cluster via MGCP, all is good.
We are now looking at adding an external SIP trunk to the mix and our SE
is encouraging us to use CUBE on the IOS gateway and convert the MGCP link
to a H.323 connection.
I have no experience with H.323 and would like to get a second opinion
before I drink the Cisco Kool Aid.

Is this the way to go or is there a better option?
