In addition to the primary operating system move from Windows to Linux and co-resident operation with CUCM 6.x, here are additional feature enhancements:

*
VPIMv2 Support
*
Improved speech recognition features including commands for pause, resume, skip forward, and skip back.
*
Integration with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express, allowing users to check and attend their meetings from Connection.
*
PhoneView which allows users to view their messages on their Cisco Unified IP Phone.
*
Support for up to 7500 users per server

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity Connection 1.2 to 2.x? Benefits?

Can anyone outline the reasons I might want to move from Unity Connection 1.2 to Connection 2.x? Is there a document that highlights the new features, etc?
