I'm still willing to bet they use PowerPoint. It has quite a few options and
features and can import a whole bunch of things. If I'm not mistaken, Cisco
has a group that creates slideshows for the speakers and those slideshows
are used by different speakers throughout the year and/or updated as
required. This group is no doubt heavily trained in presentation media
skills. Sure beats any 'dissolve from left' I can do.
