[cisco-voip] AbbrDial when speakerphone is disabled

Try this, I just tested it and it works.
Pick up handset.
Press EndCall software with handset still in your hand.
Press Speed Dial index key and the the AbbrDial softkey. It should dial the number.
It does the same thing with the headset.
It's a workaround to say the least. Definately calls into question the design for sure.

When the speakerphone is disabled on any 797X or 796X phone, the SoftKeys are disabled until the device goes off-hook. How does one use Abbreviated Dials with the speakerphone disabled, since the AbbrDial SoftKey is only available in an on-hook, after-first-digit state? I'm on 6.01a.
